Infant Room
Our Infant Room teachers love to read, sing, and do sign language with the infants as they teach
(basic colors, shapes, numbers, and animals, etc). The teachers also provide time for making
art projects, developing small motor skills (like holding small building blocks, playing with
musical instruments, etc.) as well as for developing large motor skills like crawling, standing,
and eventually walking.
The following are some testimonials from parents when asked about what makes them feel good about
our Infant program at Rainbow Montessori:
- "We are very happy with the care our children receive at Rainbow. I appreciate Miss Kish's
commitment to the infants, we like how the center is clean, and all the extras like the programs,
music, and costumed visitors" (ex. George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Easter Bunny, Santa, Frosty
the Snowman, etc.) - Stacey P. November 2009
- "Teachers/Aides seem to really care about the kids and the regular communication about adjustments
to food, eating [habits], etc. [My son] seems to be happy from his busy days." -
Christina C. November 2009
- "Teacher's interactions, sign language, and artwork. I am very impressed and I am happy of my
choice of care with my baby." - Thomia B. November 2009
